Art for Evie



Well, Evie has more original art in her room than any baby I know . . . one of the benefits of knowing so many creative people. I've posted photos of two of the pieces she's received:

Mike Gilbert made an incredible butterfly painting (matching her room's theme of course). Mike's done a series of paintings that he finished off by lighting on fire, and this is one of them.

Oliver Poole did a beautiful illustration -- look closely and you'll see the fairies leaving Evie at the bottom of our garden behind our house under a gooseberry bush (that's the English version of being delivered by a stork!)

How absolutely beautiful. Benjamin's walls are not even close to as beautiful. Once we are finished peeling ugly wallpaper, it will at least be painted and colorful! :)
